Hi families! My name is Nikki Passemato, Shooting Stars Daycare is a dream come true for me! My passion for the last 25 years has been taking care of children and specializing in infant and toddler care over the years. I started as an Infant Teacher in Daycares, worked closely with families as a Nanny/home manager and now I have built this unique licensed home daycare.

Once I became a Mom I wanted to create a loving, learning and fun environment for not only my daughter but other little ones. I hold a Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education and certified as a Sleep Consultant, newborn to 5 years old. My education and experience equip me to provide the best care for your little ones.

Our home is located in East San Diego, off Mission Gorge Rd. near Mission Trails National Park. We offer tuition with current rates ranging from $165 to $650 per week.
The afterschool program for Dailard Elementary will be $275/week. That includes pick up from school, I’ll pick them up from their classroom and transport them to our house where you can pick them up. You will find it more expensive than other daycares, but the quality of care is exceptional in comparison.

EVERYDAY ACTIVITIES

OUTDOOR PLAY

Every child deserves a safe space to run and explore! We offer a variety of exciting outdoor activities that are more essential than you might realize. Our spacious turf yard features a large play structure where kids can swing, slide, gaze through a telescope, climb, and enjoy pretend BBQs complete with play food, utensils, plates, cups, and napkins. Daily bubble and water play are huge favorites, promoting the development of gross motor skills while ensuring lots of fun! Whatever your child needs, I am here to provide the support and resources for their optimal growth.

ART LESSONS

Our art lessons provide an opportunity for children to enhance their fine motor skills while expressing their creativity. If you have any specific regarding daily activities or the program schedule, please feel free to reach out—I’m here to assist you in any way possible.
